Nyali
Beach Hotel was Mombasa's first Kenya's beach hotel on the
mainland and had the pick of location. Founded by John and Eva
Noon it opened in December 1946.
Five restaurants suit all tastes and appetites.
The cuisine varies from gourmet offerings of the beachside Mvita
Grill to lighter meals and snacks at Parrot's beach bar.
Breakfast and table d'hote lunch and dinner are served in
L'Orangerie, while pizza, pasta,indian and chinesse cuisine and
ice cream are on tap all day.
Bistro Mchana is a popular restaurant on
the ground floor of the main building with tables overflowing
into the shade of a magnificent Flamboyant tree. It serves a la
carte meals and a daily Indian and Chinese specialty. A
children's menu is also available.
For those who want something else to do other than soak up the rays, Nyali provides
a wide variety of activities. The animation team provides a range
of daily activities including water aerobics, water polo and
beach volley ball. There are also several ways available to
enjoy the attractions of the Indian Ocean.
Deep Sea fishing:
Available daily on a 27' tournament rigged Chris craft sport
fisherman equipped with:
4,6 and 8 hour charters for a maximum of 4
pax include instruction, bait tackle, beer, soft drinks water
and ice. Lunch boxes are available from the hotel.
