Welcome to the Leopard Beach Hotel, the most spacious, stylish and cosmopolitan resort on Kenya’s famous Diani beach… and just 34 km from Kenya’s colourful, historic and exotic second city, Mombasa.

Spacious and panoramic, the epitome of Swahili style
Raised on palm-fringed coral cliffs overlooking the endless blue horizons of the Indian Ocean, the superb Leopard Beach Hotel has recently emerged from world-class renovations. Now the epitome of Swahili style and international luxury, it streaks ahead of the competition and leads the field in East Africa’s coastal resorts.

Relaxation, sports and family fun
The Leopard is naturally child-friendly and our Animation Team of professional youth-leaders excel in the art of keeping everyone entertained. Diversions include an ice-cream parlour, burger bar, snorkelling, volley-ball, ping-pong, windsurfing, water sports, diving and an eco-nature trail through one of the last stretches of indigenous coastal forest in Kenya.

Idyllic Indian Ocean weddings and honeymoons
When it comes to romance, the Leopard is at the top of the tree. We pride ourselves on our superb selection of honeymoon and private suites, and we also offer a wide range of pre and post wedding entertainments, traditional and alternative wedding feasts and an entirely ‘headache-free’ wedding planning service.

Set amidst 25 acres of lush tropical gardens, this extensive resort boasts 114 standard rooms and 35 superior rooms, most of which enjoy panoramic ocean vistas and private terraces. The 6 master and honeymoon suites also offer such additional luxuries as power-showers-for-two and sunken Jacuzzis.

Superbly interior designed
All our rooms are exquisitely interior designed and offer air-conditioning, mini bars, satellite TV and 24-hour room service.

Excelling in world-class services
The Leopard’s range of first-class guest services includes: an adventure centre and dive school, extensive beach sports and an adjacent 18-hole golf course, an exclusive hair and beauty salon, relaxation massages, a full laundry and valet service, baby sitting, doctor-on-call and a wide range of shopping options.

Keep n touch and… get around!
We also offer a multi-facetted business centre and cyber café, courier service, car hire, taxi-on-call and air-conditioned limousine services from and to Mombasa Airport and town.

Once you’ve landed at the Leopard Beach, why go any further? Our guests dine in a different venue most nights and take a culinary safari that starts in Kenya, crosses Africa, drops into Italy, Greece and Spain and ends up in the Far East… via India and Mexico!

The Leopard rarely dines in the same place twice!
Dining with the Leopard is a moveable feast! Sometimes it happens in the panoramic Horizon Restaurant…sometimes on the breezy Nyama Choma Terrace… sometimes it’s a moonlit poolside buffet and sometimes a tropical beach barbecue. And sometimes we take it down to the beach for a colourful Afro-international ‘market’ of food kiosks.

Treat yourself …to the exclusive Chui Grill
The exclusively a la carte Chui Grill, a member of the prestigious ‘Chaine des Rotisseurs’ is white-tented, blue-chandeliered, spans a lily pond and serves freshly caught seafood, world-class wines and gourmet cuisine.

Try out …The Tornati Pasta ‘n’ Pizza Restaurant
Secluded beneath the arches of the wave-lapped colonnade, this intimate and relaxed restaurant offers homemade pasta and pizzas just like mamma used to make at the Ocean’s edge.

Indulge your international tastes
Choose from an American-styled Pool Bistro serving burgers and short-order favourites or the cooling fruits, juices and shakes of the Tutti-Frutti ice-cream parlour.

Check out the Coco Beach cuisine
Gaily dotted with coconut-hat sunshades, Coco Beach is an oasis of sybaritic sun worship with a lunchtime beachside grill serving everything from sizzling lobster skewers to spicy seafood stir-fries

Sail away from it all … at Marco’s cliff-top cocktail bar
Sailing like a Spanish galleon from its grassy anchor atop the towering coral cliffs, this unique al fresco cocktail bar is surreally styled to resemble a twin-decked schooner; complete with polished decks, rounded contours, gleaming brass fittings and luxuriant powder-blue banquette seating. Lovingly hand-built from choicest glacé mahogany Marco’s is open on all sides while being airily roofed with lateen sails of sunset gold, so lightly balanced that they seem poised to billow and lift the entire structure up and away over the ocean.

Drop into Mario’s, the only place to ‘see and be seen’
THE evening venue for locals and visitors alike, Mario’s Bar is a polished mahogany concoction of a cocktail bar that is pure Hollywood glamour. What’s more, during the day it turns into a relaxed sports bar showing sporting highlights and headline news.

Take in some dancing and romancing at ‘The Waves’
Carved deep into the coral cliffs, centred on a colourful dance floor and looking out over the blue of the pool, this is the ideal place for disco dancing and tropical romancing.

Hit the hot spots at the Bistro Bar
Panoramically located on the roof of the beachside Bistro Bar, with unadulterated sun, sea and sand, this is the hottest spot on the strip.

Cool-it down at Coco Beach
A classic coral cove, set with coconut hat sunshades and luxurious loungers, Coco Beach offers tropical cocktails, spicy snacks and waiter service all day long.

The leopard is always on the move; offering endless poolside activities, beach Olympics, water sports and jungle walks. Guests also enjoy the use of a world-class 18-hole Par 72 golf course; just five minutes stroll from the hotel. Come evening, the Leopard also lays on some exotic cultural displays, bonfire-lit beach BBQ’s and dancing under the stars.

Dive ‘The Crab’
Our state of the art water sports centre, Diving The Crab, is manned by multi-lingual instructors and offers international standard SSI dive courses as well as high-adventure deep-sea fishing and a wide range of action water sports.

Leopard adventure
Our Adventure Centre offers everything from a day-trip to the Kisite National Marine Park to the enjoyment of the coral gardens and fresh-crab lunches of Wasini Island. Also on offer are the fabulous Tamarind sunset dhow trips, Swahili feasts or trips to the historical and cultural sights of Mombasa. Classic Kenyan safari options include a day trip to see the elephants of nearby Shimba Hills National Reserve or maybe a visit to Amboseli National Park, The Arabuko Sokoke Forest, Watamu Marine Park, Gedi Ruins or the twin splendours of Tsavo East and West National Parks.

Leopard relaxation
For those in need of relaxation we offer a full range of beauty and relaxation services while for those in need of retail therapy there’s a vibrant local craft market on the beach and a selection of in-house boutiques.

Consider a tropical conference
The sleek new Chui Conference Centre offers a very private space, set sufficiently distant from the main hotel complex to ensure both continuity and focus. It ALSO offers a multi-facetted selection of cleverly integrated conference rooms, some spacious workspaces, private boardrooms and adaptable audiovisuals.
